<p class="wp-block-paragraph">After a successful first edition, Vitensia returned in 2025 in a new and enchanting form. For the annual employee event of Dutch water company Vitens, The Groundbreakers created a magical experience deep within the Forest of Connection - a place where stories whisper, forest gatherings take place, and colleagues truly connect.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Under the title The Forest Edition, over 900 Vitens employees were invited to literally and figuratively return to the source. Surrounded by nature, they came together for an afternoon full of connection, experience and knowledge sharing. The interactive programme allowed participants to follow their own path through themed forest trails like Wonderwoud, Varenspoor, Flow-Forest and Stormtrack - with workshops ranging from magic and building ecosystems to fencing, tai chi and archery.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Everything revolved around connection: during the workshops, around the campfire, in the DJ booth hidden among the trees, or while sharing drinks at the closing get-together. The entire day was produced as sustainably as possible, with local catering, reusable materials and fully electric transport.</p>

De gemiddelde Nederlander doucht dagelijks 8,3 minuten en spoelt hiermee maar liefst 70 liter drinkwater weg! <p class="wp-block-paragraph">Showering accounts for most of our water consumption. The average Dutch person showers for 8.3 minutes every day, washing away as much as 70 litres of drinking water! Young people shower even more often and more than average, so there is a lot of water to be gained there. Vitens asked us to develop an activation concept to reduce students' water consumption.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">To bring water saving to the attention of students, we developed a fresh activation for <a href="https://www.facebook.com/vitens?__cft__%5b0%5d=AZXg_7AfbhUZg1BXMObxb7xwoapZVl16gAkdooX3XmadVWYlxQF6gkughTtW8_Ef7J2usf6CKkhyZxQAQotv-m1X3nyMlfAXerR9KKHji4nX1a6Krxn-7QLBviONQMLZlAiyb5yRGrHGZWBzUHxYHpdHjeT6QFCsluBfcAq7NGIbUhWLSORg8OknN0-oLdg8br0&amp;__tn__=-%5dK-R">Vitens</a> named ‘Fresh with less’! We took this activation to the student introduction weeks of student cities like Utrecht and Nijmegen. We developed a Vitens branded setting in the form of a cube with a unique experience on each side. So students could share their water wisdom, take a picture in the shower with as many new friends as possible, learn more about water consumption and catch drops themselves - because every drop counts!</p>
