How do you create a summery experience in the heart of Hoog Catharijne that both children and parents can enjoy together? That was the question Kl\u00e9pierre put to The Groundbreakers, so we dove into the world of water fun and developed Badeendjesbaai: a cheerful family event filled with bobbing ducks, creativity, and fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visitors could adopt their own rubber duck for charity, decorate it exactly to their liking, and then line up for the Great Rubber Duck Race on the iconic water island. A giant, eight-meter-tall rubber duck rounded off the summer spectacle, serving as an unmissable photo spot in the City Room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the ducks provided more than just fun: all proceeds from the adopted ducks went to the The Forgotten Child Foundation, funding summer activities for children for whom going on holiday is not a given. In this way, we combined creativity, interaction, and positive impact into a unique event concept. Badeendjesbaai \u2013 where little ducks bring big fun.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
