Every month, The Groundbreakers puts an inspiring initiative, product or company in the spotlight. By sharing knowledge and inspiration, we want to stimulate sustainable developments and hope to contribute to the greening of business. This time we would like to highlight B-corp Dopper with their 'Dopper Wave' initiative. Dopper is a social enterprise that offers people the opportunity to choose reusable water bottles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reusable over single-use<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dopper's mission is to give people the opportunity to choose reusable bottles over single-use water bottles to protect the world's water resources. They do this, for example, by selling reusable water bottles that are sustainably produced and fully recyclable, but also by setting up global campaigns that spread the message to stop plastic pollution and drink from the tap. With this they want to create a movement of changemakers step by step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dopper Wave<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One way to make a positive contribution and join the fight against disposable bottles is, for example, to join the 'Dopper Wave'. Both an individual and a company can join this by promising the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Always drink tap water whenever possible<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wave of change<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Small, daily actions can prevent large amounts of disposable plastic from ending up in our oceans. Dopper believes that everyone can contribute to this: \u201cyou are not a lonely drop in an ocean full of plastic pollution. You are part of a wave of change.\u201d For example, according to research, one Dopper bottle prevents 40 single-use plastic bottles from ending up in our oceans per year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
