Every month, The Groundbreakers puts an inspiring initiative, product or company in the spotlight. By sharing knowledge and inspiration, we want to stimulate sustainable developments and we hope to contribute to the greening of the business community. This time we would like to highlight the Court of Cartesius in Utrecht. The Groundbreakers team was given a tour of this circularly built workplace. But is this cozy time with Christmas trees also so wonderful for the environment? Every year in the Netherlands alone, 2.5 million Christmas trees are composted or burned after December. Frank Haagen and his brother-in-law Alex de Graaf find it a sin. This is how they came up with the idea of \u200b\u200bmarketing real Christmas trees that can be placed back and reused. Reusable Christmas tree forest<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To achieve this, it is important that the tree is cared for with a lot of love and a little water in December. A bit hackneyed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, there are only a few rental trees with a root ball available, which is why BeterBoompje also offers trees without a root ball. For every Christmas tree sold without a root ball, BeterBoompje plants two new organic Christmas tree cuttings in the BeterBoompje Christmas tree forest.
