In Leerdam, PostNL tested various scenarios using robots that could support delivery workers in the future. Robot dogs carried parcels to the front door, serving robots assisted at a PostNL service point and a humanoid robot replenished a parcel locker. With this pilot, the PostNL Innovation Studio explored how technology can make work easier while enhancing the customer experience.
The Groundbreakers was responsible for the realisation of the setting for the press moment and the creation of content around the pilot. We developed the script for filming and created a strong and engaging visual concept aligned with the core message: ‘The Delivery Street of the Future’. In the streets of Leerdam, we brought the future of delivery to life in a compelling and tangible way.
The press event generated extensive national media coverage and was featured on platforms including NOS, EditieNL, NU.nl, Radio 538, BNR, De Telegraaf, Omroep WNL, RTV Utrecht, De Morgen and AD. A great collaboration with PostNL to give the Netherlands a glimpse into the future of delivery.
