Every AFAS user navigates the software in their own way. Some like to dive deep into a module, while others prefer to stay closer to the surface. To introduce visitors to the Lifelong Learning programme in a playful way, The Groundbreakers developed an eye-catching swimming pool activation for AFAS. Following its first edition during the Dag van de AFAS Beheerder, the activation returned at AFAS Open in a bigger and more interactive format.
In a large ball pit pool filled with blue and white balls, participants literally dived into Lifelong Learning. Hidden among the balls were different statements about how they use AFAS. Using YES and NO signs to answer, participants discovered which type of AFAS user suited them best: Deep Diver, Spartelaar, Surface Swimmer or Baantjestrekker. From his high lifeguard chair, an enthusiastic lifeguard guided the game and brought humour, interaction and energy to the pool.
After their dive, participants received a personalised AFAS swimming certificate with learning advice and a QR code linking to Lifelong Learning. The activation brought the differences between AFAS users to life in a relatable way and gave visitors an immediate opportunity to continue learning and developing their skills. Hundreds of visitors took part, turning the pool into an eye-catching, interactive meeting place between sessions.
