For one week, the Voetenplein at Amsterdam UMC was transformed into an inspiring city park with sustainability at its heart. During the internal campaign ‘Greener with Every Step’, employees were introduced to the hospital’s circular ambitions and encouraged to actively contribute to sustainability within their own workplace.

Along a green walkway lined with impressive trees made from recycled materials, visitors discovered the R-ladder step by step: Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. At each tree, concrete examples of Amsterdam UMC’s sustainable projects were showcased. Informative signs and interactive elements provided an accessible way for everyone to explore the many opportunities to make a positive impact.

The city park created a moment of awareness, connection, and pride. With this striking and approachable campaign, Amsterdam UMC aimed not only to make sustainability tangible, but also to leave a lasting impression on all 16,000 employees.

Introducing the striking campaign ‘Focus on Green’ where we literally put the employees' focus on green. In the central hall of the hospital, a massive pair of glasses covered in moss and with green lenses appeared. When you look through these glasses at the hospital, you notice things that you might have overlooked before. In front of the glasses, there's colorful signage with a graphic print that you can only read when you look through the green lenses. It displays sustainable facts and figures about the hospital.  

Scanning the QR code at the settings will take you to the campaign page with more information and inspiration to get started with sustainability yourself. The campaign and activation creatively creatively shows the importance of adopting a green perspective.
