In March 2020, the world has been turned upside down and a lot has happened in the event industry since. The crisis has literally put us 'on hold' and although we wished we could have continued organizing events, it has also given us time to think about our right to exist. What is it that we are really good at as an agency? How do we want to enter the future as a company? Where can we make the difference? 

This has led to a big step: after as much as fifteen years, event agency ID310 stops. Today marks the end of an era for us, but also the beginning of something special. We continue as THE GROUNDBREAKERS: the first green brand activation agency in the Netherlands! A green change of direction where we continue to do what we do best: brand activations in public spaces. The difference, however, is that we execute the production of brand activations in the most sustainable way possible. And that is a first in the events industry! THE GROUNDBREAKERS: het eerste groene merkactivatiebureau van Nederland! Een groene koerswijziging waarbij we blijven doen waar we het beste in zijn: merkactivaties in de publieke ruimte. Het verschil is  echter dat we de productie van merkactivaties op een zo duurzaam mogelijke manier invullen. En dat is een primeur in de evenementenbranche!

Of course it's exciting to change direction, but it feels like the right time for us to take this step. Everything we organize and produce is basically for one live moment, which seems to automatically make events unsustainable. Making our industry more sustainable is therefore considered to be too complicated, but it is not impossible! In the last months we have worked hard with our team to renew our business processes and we are now ready to take this big step. The current crisis is causing more and more people and companies to become environmentally aware and to feel that we can no longer treat the earth this way. The world is out of balance and resources are slowly running out; reason enough to change the way we work. As The Groundbreakers we want to make a contribution and show that it is possible as a brand to create impact in a way that does little damage to the earth.
